Hello and welcome to my private practice. My name is Lisa Bond, and I am passionate about helping individuals and their families and supports using the evidence based principles and skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My enthusiasm for my work comes from seeing my clients experience relief from emotional suffering while they build mastery in making and keeping relationships, thrive in daily living, and build their lives in such a way as to make them worth embracing every day. In DBT we call this, “Having a Life Worth Living.”
While maintaining my certification as an RN for over 25 years, I have successfully completed intensive training through Behavioral Tech in DBT. I continually update my skills several times a year by continuing training such as ABCT (Dr. Tom Lynch RO-DBT), Dr. Alan Fruzetti and the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder/Family Connections Program as well as the McLean Hospital Borderline Personality Education Initiative. I participate as a member of two consultation teams. I am a trained Family Connections Program Leader. I offer a free monthly educational support group for families and friends of individuals with a variety of disorders of emotional dysregulation. Additionally, I continue to work with Dr. Laura Hill and the team at The Center For Balanced Living where for over 10 years I have specialized in program development and treatment for Eating Disorders.
My mission is to deliver cost effective, evidenced based, effective intervention for adults and adolescents (13+), their families and supports, and to increase awareness of DBT as an effective treatment modality for a wide range of mental health issues. The goal is to reduce suffering and enhance the quality of my client’s lives.
I welcome you to my practice and am committed to providing you and your family with an effective and positive experience.
